Judy Wasson to Compete for Mrs. Texas

Judy Wasson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Delony of Dubach, was named Mrs. Crane at a Crane Texas contest and will go to Austin in June to vie for Mrs. Texas. A Ruston High School editor, she led the Chatterbox and wrote for The Leader. She is mother to a nine month old son and was also named Queen of Hearts for Beta Sigma Phi from sixteen contestants.

Hilda Green Engagement Announced in Dubach

Mr and Mrs Colvin Green of Dubach announce the engagement of their daughter Hilda to John Edward Johnson son of Mr and Mrs Joe Johnson of Farmerville. The wedding is planned for Saturday June 3 at five o'clock in the evening at the bride's aunt Mrs Frank King home. Reverend Harold Spillers of West Monroe will officiate before family and close friends. The couple will reside in Farmerville.

Tech Senate Members To Attend SUSGA Meet In Florida

Four Louisiana Tech Student Senate members will represent the college at the eighth SUSGA conference at Florida State University in Tallahassee on April 27-29.
