Aswell conducted the meeting, reports were given on Consumer Education Landscaping Nutrition and World Citizenship, and a demonstration by Family Life and Health readers Mrs Julian Poole and Mrs Fannie Frost on Run for Happier Families was presented. Refreshments were served to many members including Mrs. Louvenia Smith and the next meeting planned at Mrs. Mark Davis.

Mrs Luther Frazier was honored with a birthday dinner at her home on Sunday April 16 marking her seventy one years. Seven daughters and many friends joined a picnic style meal as presents and praise were shared for the honoree.
