State Highway Engineer L G Stretch Boles told a Roswell audience that EPA environmental reports and impact statements impose sizable costs on the New Mexico Highway Department. EPA officials approved paving five miles of NM 37 but urged more information on Rio Bonito effects. Final fair parade plans under way in Roswell 1974
The Roswell Jaycees announced final preparations for the 1974 Eastern New Mexico Fair Parade set for 10 a.m. Tuesday. Parade entrants should receive lineup numbers by Monday afternoon and bicycle entrants may sign up on the spot with no entry form.
