Word from Carlsbad says Annex Chambless was drowned in the Pecos River. His body was found with head in mud and watch stopped at 11:15. A. M. Lee, who drowned with Chambless, remains missing despite extensive search efforts. Brother L. K. Lee offers 500 dollars for recovery and pays 3 dollars per day for searchers.
The Roswell Planing Mill Co operates a polished facility under manager Totten, with Chris Totten directing design and execution of fine wood work. Esopus New York Oct. 18 Judge Parker left Esopus for his regular weekly visit to New York. He will likely return to Esopus Thursday. Parker arrived in New York and went to the Hotel Seville for a brief stay before returning.

R C Phillips filed suit in Judge Bailey's court for four dollars claiming a Italy's skirt was to be refunded if not suitable. The case is set for next week.
