Bodies Of Truck Crash Victims Are Brought To Roswell
The remains of Ray E. Levers and Claude Cleo Elton, killed in a truck crash near Rui dose, were brought to Roswell last night in a Ballard funeral coach. Ray Levers, Roswell resident for 35 years, has no service plans yet. Claude Elton, resident two years, will have services Sunday at Quanah Texas. The remains will be taken to Clovis tomorrow and then to Quanah by train.

Camp Camino Damaged After Flood. Owner Gives Update

His abandoned car with luggage and a new shotgun was found west of Monahans suggesting possible foul play or marooning by high water. 4-H Hereford Calf Auction Set For Saturday Morning
The annual 4-H Hereford calf sale proceeds Saturday morning at the northwest corner of the fairgrounds despite the fair cancellation due to flooding. About 50 calves from Chaves Lea Eddy and DeBaca counties are exhibited with judging by George F. Ellis, and about 40 calves will be sold. The sitting committee includes John McCoy M A Crawford and H J Burns with Benton Moseley weighing calves on portable scales. Each member may exhibit multiple calves but only one per seller may be sold.
