Anderson to speak at New Mexico Cattlegrowers meeting in Roswell

Roswell rancher Robert O. Anderson chairman of Atlantic Richfield is among speakers at the New Mexico Cattlegrowers Assn third quarterly meeting in Roswell Inn December 8 9. Other speakers include Dr. Bob Bond geologist Benjamin R. Hudson and Dr. Gene Ross. The two day program begins December 8 with registration sessions and a banquet. December 9 features advisory board breakfast and a second general session.

Lucky 13th Annual Angus Sale Planned in New Mexico

The New Mexico Angus Assn designates the 13th annual sale as lucky with 41 bulls and nine cows on show at the Eastern New Mexico State Fairgrounds. Show starts Monday with judge Raymond Barton at 1 p.m. and sale Tuesday at 1 p.m. auctioneer Del Winchester. The Angus Buffet and Dance follows Monday at the Roswell Inn with trophies presented by donors including Albuquerque National Bank and others.
