L. M. Davis, an Albuquerque pilot, escaped serious harm when his single engine Bonanza crashed at Bottomless Lakes State Park near Roswell. The crash occurred around 6 02 p m as he was en route to Roswell. Davis walked to a nearby ranch to report the accident and the Federal Civil Aeronautics Authority is investigating.
