Crippled Children's Clinic Held Today In New Mexico
Children from five counties were examined in a crippled children's clinic held here today by the State Department of Public Welfare. Seventy six were checked by 1:30 this afternoon with about 85 expected. 20 were new cases. The clinic, at First Methodist Church basement, was led by Dr. Frank Goodwin assisted by Dr. Moreno Valles and Dr. W. N. Worthington, with X-rays by Dr. L. W. Johnson. Nursing and public health staff from Carrie Tingley Hospital aided along with local officials and American Legion Auxiliary Roswell volunteers.
