More Canadians Land In Britain
A British port reported the Fifth Canadian armored Division landed safely in Britain in the largest troop convoy yet to reach Britain. The convoy was escorted part way across the North Atlantic by United States warships. Included were 75 US Army air corps and signal corps experts who will assist in operating Britain’s radio locators. Several Americans who joined the Royal Canadian Air Force also landed.
