High Court Rules Federal Convictions May Not Drive Habitual Sentencing

Sister Frances Catherine Florer of the Sisters of Charity, formerly a chief draftsman of Michigan bills, was admitted to the Supreme Court bar. The 65 year old nun, who studied law at the University of Michigan and served as a legislative draftsman, joined about 200 others sworn in to practice before the court.
