City Manager C. M. Woodbury stated no water curbs are planned in Woodbury in response to Walker Air Force Base adopting a watersaving program. The base will implement the plan Sunday and run all summer, drawing water from its own wells.
The New Mexico Medical Society named Dr. Dwight Allison of Las Cruces as Best General Practitioner of the Year at its convention opening. Dr. Allison, 67, has practiced in New Mexico since 1910 and is active in public health work.
