Presbyterian Missionary Society Meeting Admirers At Roswell
A large turnout of Roswell Presbyterian women attended the June meeting of the Missionary Society at Mrs. James B. Herbst home. President Mrs. Savage led the session while Mrs. Lawson directed devotionals and Mrs. Baker oversaw the program with solos by Elizabeth McFadden and Delena Gillespie. Mrs. Thompson spoke on the Philippines from nine years teaching there, and Mrs. Carle reported on assembly mission work. Refreshments followed.
