Mail Bride Dreams In Hollywood Past And Present
Marie Alexander lives on Dover Drive in Hollywood and longs for romance via a pen pal, while her mother Julie runs Julie's Beauty Shoppe and a circulating library. Marie frets over a date with Edward Wilson of Oakland as her mother pushes her to prepare, and Charlie Bronson drives her to the Biltmore. The scene ends with Marie chaotic at home before a planned meeting.
