C N Stansell, farming the older place southeast of town, left this morning for Hereford Texas to be gone several days on business.
G. A. Crawford and wife, after several days in the Valley on a prospecting trip, departed this morning for their home at Britton, Oklahoma.
Uty Oil inspector for Roosevelt county started this morning toward Clovis via the Belen cut off and will return to Roswell on Saturday. J. A. Reid, appointed deputy, accompanied the trip duties and duties were outlined.
Mrs. E. H. Norton leaves tomorrow for Goldfield Nevada to join her husband a physician there. She has been visiting with Mrs. G. T. Veal since last October.

The jury in J. A. Brown ing vs. Douthitt failed to agree after three days and two nights and was discharged. The court proceeds with C. S. Lusk vs. B. H. Marsh for damages claiming Marsh owes Lusk and notes appointments of U S Commissioners D L Newkirk and A E Curren. The final jury case will be R C Graves and Son vs. P V N E Ry with jurors expected to be discharged later this week.
