The Ladies Missionary Society of the Presbyterian church will meet Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. C. C. Martin at three o clock sharp. Ladies of the congregation are invited to attend.
Abe Weinberg an accident investigator for the New York Transportation Co. travels with his brother H. P. Weinberg of Portales who plans to open a jewelry store in Carlsbad. He is well pleased with Roswell and Pecos Valley areas and intends to buy land and promote growth there.
