President seeks power to spend six billion in relief
Washington June 2 AP the house appropriations committee reported a deficiency supply bill authorizing up to six billion dollars in relief spending by President Roosevelt. The hum of machinery is heard in southwestern Oklahoma and adjacent Texas counties as harvest approaches in two to three weeks.
