Wrecking crews cleared debris after the New York Central Pacific express struck a landslide one mile north of New Hamburg at 11 26 last night. Engineer Edward Wells of Albany and fireman E Warren of New York were killed. about twelve passengers were injured. The wreck, a major Hudson River line disaster, left the locomotive buried and the train blocking all three tracks.
