NM plans to review Wilmeth log in 19 death crash
New Mexico Motor Transportation Department will obtain trucker Erby G. Wilmeths log book as part of the crash investigation that killed 19 people when a tractor trailer and a chartered bus collided near Ft. Sumner on December 26. The bus driver Jerry Estes of San Antonio Texas also died and investigators note both drivers had long duty periods with the trucker reportedly driving about 12 hours before the crash.
