Police hunt missing automobile in slaying
Roswell police continue the investigation into the stabbing death of Betty B. George 52 at her home on 712 FE Alameda. Her body was found with a slit throat by her brother at 5 02 p m Sunday. A missing 1959 Oldsmobile station wagon white over green NM ABJ 854 is believed key to the case as officers search for clues. No arrests reported and weapon status remains undetermined.
