A sermon contrasts two church growth models: organization versus organism. It argues true power comes from spiritual development, not merely roster size, citing Acts 5:14 and the Ananias and Sapphira episode as context for discipline and grace. The message emphasizes pruning dead branches to allow growth.

Tax collection hurdles over mineral properties debated
There is a question of jurisdiction between the state tax commission and local tax authorities in assessing such properties. All property known to contain minerals comes under the exclusive jurisdiction of the state tax commission. A portion of non producing properties might be known to contain minerals and many controversies would arise over such matters. Altogether it would seem impractical to embark on any such course without legislation to clearly define procedure to collect such taxes.
