Mrs. Ed Turner sustained a painful palm wound when a nail was driven through her left hand while kindling a fire. A physician dressed the injury and she was treated at home. The ailment was painful if not serious.

In Cripple Creek Colorado Mrs S Vidler shot and killed Mrs H C Douglass in the National Hotel after finding her husband with the victim. Vidler a newspaper man’s wife and Vidler was arrested then released on five thousand dollar bail. The motive is jealousy and the victim had registered from Colorado Springs.
Cloudy weather did not deter the ladies of the Woman's Club from gathering yesterday at St Andrew's Hall to study New York City. Attendance was high and the session praised as one of the most enjoyable and profitable the club has held. Mrs J J Hagerman and Mrs S H Elliott led the program with well prepared plans. Elliott had just returned from a visit of several days.
President Roosevelt will conclude his Oklahoma hunting trip this evening in Frederick O T. He and his party plan to meet local citizens and deliver an address before the train departs at 8 25 tonight for Colorado.

J Fr Matheson and manager Albert Turner arrive from Carlsbad with about a dozen Mexicans for lambing season. BR F Orr leaves for Hagerman to visit friends, having been in town for business.
