Dr. Robert W. Lodge Named PFRA Chief Land Use Officer
Regina reports Dr. Robert W. Lodge of Swift Current was named Chief Land Use Service for the Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration effective May 15, 1973. A 20 year staffer at the Canada Department of Agriculture Research Station, Lodge has a broad background in range ecology and pasture management and has served with PFRA as an advisor on community pastures. He has international experience, academic credentials from Saskatchewan Idaho and Wales, and has held civic roles in Swift Current including chairing the Finance and Community Services Committee and Chinook Regional Library presidency. He is married to Irene Frances Brown and they have three children.
