Rossburn Transcona Twinning A Worthwhile Project
Grade six at Rossburn Elementary School and Central Elementary of Transcona renewed their exchange. Eighteen Rossburn students visited Transcona while fourteen Transcona students visited Rossburn. The week featured community tours farms, ranches, a marine and plant facilities, and trips to Russell Roblin and Clear Lake.

R C I Drama Club Wraps Active Year With Final Play
The R C I Drama Club staged A Spell of Evil on May 24 at Rossburn Town Hall directed by Debby Chicheluk. Cast included Myrna Leschasin Janice Tokar Barney Michalchuk Barry Michalyshyn Gail Glushka Peter Lamb Leonard Kostesky Pat Perchaluk Evel yn Kambietz Irene Bonchuk. It was the final drama production of the year following Cinderella at Christmas and a Skit Night fundraiser. The club thanks supporters and attendees.

Ken Kalynuk Recreation Director announces Manitoba government support to run community programs in Angusville for summer 1973. Minor baseball leads activity with Mosquitoes 2 3 and Midgets opening loss. Plans include weekly sports night and Senior Citizens night with more events to follow. Kalynuk will be at the school in June and messages can be left at his home.

Saturday Storm Ends Dry Spell
Violent thunderstorms Saturday afternoon ended a dry spell with gusty southeast winds and heavy rain. Reports include downed antennas, cracked windows, damaged buildings, a fallen evergreen on Victoria Avenue West, garden plant damage, and seed washout from heavy runoff.
