Rossburn Councils Discuss Mutual Concerns
A joint Rossburn RM and Village meeting on April 19 weighed funding for an Agri Rec Complex, reopening Central School, a Birdtail River dam study to boost tourism and water supply, creation of a Community Economic Development Board, housing and rail line issues, 1990 equipment needs for the fire department, JEPP funding, road upgrades to the Nuisance Grounds, sewage haul improvements to Rossman Lake Resort, and church restoration grants. Plans also urged opposition to reopening Central School and urged use of Major Pratt or Rossburn Collegiate for the FYDE program while seeking district support.
