Highway Clean Up Campaign Planned for Manitoba Roads
The fourth annual 4 H Highway Clean up Campaign runs Saturday April 28 from 9 00 a m to 3 00 p m. Dori Gingera of Manitoba Agriculture notes 182 clubs registered to cover about 2200 kilometres with 17 per kilometre funded by highways and transportation and 22 per kilometre within a 3 km radius of larger communities.

Rossburn council approves motor grader purchase and grants
The Rural Municipality of Rossburn council authorized buying a Caterpillar 140G motor grader for 101 650 dollars plus trade in of a 1979 model for 54 400, pending ministerial approval to use reserve funds. R.C.I. Students Celebrate Education Week Activities
R.C.I. held Education Week April 16 to 20 with Spirit Week theme days and noon activities. Grade 9 and 10 posters essays and displays celebrated education while grade 12 ran a daily trivia contest about the school and its people. A Friday breakfast by the yearbook committee and art viewings completed a lively week.
