Rossburn Winter Carnival Shines Despite Snow Derby Cancel
The Rossburn Winter Carnival on February 26 and 27 drew 26 entries in events at Rossburn Arena and Rossman Lake. Winners included Kelly Slow and Grant Nychuk in the Perch, Marie Elke and friends in the Snow Sculpture Garfield, and Chris Hogberg in the Jackfish class. Carnival Queen candidates Roxane Caldwell Shauna Gerelus and Laurie Mychasiw were crowned, with prizes and community acknowledgments as Lion clubs and local schools received donations and trophies.
