Pioneer Association Sees Small Turnout at Sixth Annual Meet
The Parkland Ukrainian Pioneer Association met February 12 1982 at Oakburn School with Mae Chwaluk welcoming a small attendance. Officers re elected for 1982 include Chwaluk president Novalkowski vice president Nychek treasurer Antonow secretary Sitko Malchuk. members at large Sitko and Malchuk. Activities noted 1981 included a Ukrainian concert and dance at Olha a mass grave cross at Patterson Lake and a cairn plan at St John Oakburn Farms to list unmarked cemetery names with over two thousand dollar cost. Readings of 1981 minutes and treasurer report preceded discussion of 1982 projects.
