Semchyshyn Named Master of Ceremonies for Ukrainian Festival
Cecil Semchyshyn of Winnipeg is appointed master of ceremonies for Dauphin Manitoba’s National Ukrainian Festival grandstand shows. He has led festival events since 1966 and served as Hospodar for multiple years. Semchyshyn joined the tourism planning branch in 1973 and has led cultural initiatives including Folklorama and federal provincial cultural programs. He anticipates the 13th festival with continued production and direction roles.
