Rossburn council eyes Main Street revamp and water well

The Rossburn Village Council led by Mayor Louis Kurchaba approves plans to revitalize Main Street with trees paving and lighting at an estimated debt of 35000.00. By-Laws 680 684 685 686 pass and a new water well costs 15000 to 20000 with Manitoba Water Services Board cost sharing.

Formation of an area arts council discussed

Consultants Elmer Billows Gary Dixon Gordon Throp and Bev Murray MACAC chair. A June 20 steering committee meeting planned to shape strategy ahead of a September public meeting.
