National Farm Survey under way to study crops and livestock
Statistics Canada will gather data from 28 000 Canadian farms between June 14 and July 5 by mail telephone and in person to assess land seeded crop acreages livestock numbers and farm operating expenses. Results will support provincial economies and public agricultural statistics while ensuring confidential handling of individual farmer information.

Lawless Receives Larger Buddy Bike From Pioneers
The Manitoba Telephone Pioneers presented Laurie Lawless with a larger Buddy Bike, two regular bikes connected for a blind rider to bike with another person. She outgrew her child bike donated years earlier by the same group and can keep her current bike as long as she wishes. Laurie's former bike was donated to a blind and deaf girl in Dauphin.

Recreation complex discussed at meeting
A Wednesday meeting at Rossburn Town Hall reviewed plans for a community recreation complex. Committee forms regional Ukrainian Canadian Committee
