Russell 17.6 mm, 138 percent of its normal. Soil moisture in crop district 3, including Shoal Lake, Rossburn and Birtle, appears adequate topsoil 46 percent and subsoil 53 percent. Provincially, totals below long term averages, rainfall ranges 35 to 149 percent by station, with regional totals from 104 to 73 percent across regions. A late-week rain may improve totals for the next report.
