Winnipeg resident murdered in 1979 case prompts tips
The Manitoba Crime Stopper program asks the public to help solve the 1979 murder of 26 year old Winnipeg resident Robert Thomas Forgan. He vanished after calling a cab near McPhillips Street and Magnus Avenue and was found the next day in the Red River near Henderson Highway. Crime Stoppers offers up to 2000 dollars for information with anonymity guaranteed.

Golf Clinics Offered By Stan Homeniuk At Rossman Lake
Local golfers are invited to two free clinics led by Stan Homeniuk of the Manitoba Professional Golfers Association at Rossman Lake on Wednesday June 3. The junior session runs 4 30 to 6 30 p m and the adults session from 6 30 to 8 30 p m. The club pro will coach attendees on swings and improving scores.
