Retirement party honors 35 years of teaching in Manitoba
Kelvin and Jewel Mazur and Mary Livetsky visited Winnipeg for Lynda Suderman’s retirement party at the Manitoba Teacher's Society building. Peter Suderman was celebrated with speeches, singing, lunch, and jug band entertainment. He plans an addition to the cottage at Silver Beach as retirement begins. Kale Mazur marked his second birthday with family, coinciding with wedding anniversaries in the community. Wedding reports from Waterton Park and Angleville note celebrations, church ceremonies, receptions, and well wishes. The Angusville area joins Lake of the Prairies Conservation District, with Jewel Mazur becoming the district’s first female manager. The district offers forage-related programs, free alkaline soil seed, and contact details for more information.
