Manitoba expands Designated Driver Program across province
Manitoba announces Phase Two of the Designated Driver Program with MPIC MLCC AFM MHA and MRFA as partners. The program aims to have patrons designate non drinking drivers in advance to transport drinkers home safely across 1300 licensed venues. Participation is voluntary and adaptable with token or signage options. Preliminary results show broad support with 82 percent of occasional liquor permit users backing licensed establishment use.
