Long service medal awarded to W A White at Rossburn RCMP
Constable W A Tony White of the Rossburn RCMP Detachment received a 20 year long service medal at the Ceilidh House on December 14 from Supt. Reg Boughen. The event capped the Rossburn Detachment Christmas dinner honoring support personnel. Supt. Boughen praised the service of guards matrons janitors and volunteers. A surprise announcement said Anthony Oudie would join as a fledged member at RCMP D Division HQ in Winnipeg on December 17.

Autopac Costs Reach Record High in MPIC Report
MPIC Automobile Insurance Division posts a year end loss of 25.5 million on 370.2 million in Autopac claim costs, up from 320.7 million prior year. Bodily injury and vehicle damage claims rise. Claims volume up to 188,034. retained earnings drop to 6.5 percent of premiums. Discontinued general insurance fines show net income of 7.8 million.
