Russell Water Supply Project Progresses Near Russell Manitoba
The project will build an earthfill dam 30 feet high and 900 feet long on Conjuring Creek to create a 1000 acre foot reservoir. The 264371 bid was the lower of two and work is supervised by the Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration. The dam will provide an alternate Russell water source and aid flood control for the Assiniboine Valley.
