Rossburn Rural Council Drafts Beaver Pilot Project Plan
The Rural Municipality of Rossburn furthers a Beaver problem study with the Community Resource Centre at the University of Brandon, seeking equal provincial funding. The council rejects responsibility for site leveling tied to Beaver Lumber dealings and orders inspections on hay meadow flooding, plus requests Parks Canada action on owner Wm Obedniak’s behalf. Manitoba Hydro lighting changes prompt an $83 payment to offset costs, and invoices totaling $6,692.04 are tabled with irregular office hours criticized.
