Zero tillage gains cautious traction in Manitoban farms
Seven farmers in Dauphin Grandview and Swan River areas join Manitoba Department of Agriculture in a cost and time saving zero tillage study. Early results show comparable yields to conventional methods with cooler soil early, but officials warn it is not a shortcut and full evaluation will take years.
