The mayor's son Stitt wed Elaine Cleland, the reeve's daughter, in a Saturday ceremony. Grateful thanks are extended to Dr. Dobson, hospital nurses and staff, visitors, card senders, and the Ukrainian Catholic League for a fruit basket.
Mrs. Alex Cleland hosted a Trousseau Reception on Saturday August 3 in honor of her daughter Elaine ahead of her August 10 marriage to Delroy Stitt. Guests included Mrs J G Stitt and Jean Cleland led the guest book with servers and gift attendants named. A hospital show er and a Winnipeg gathering preceded the wedding with a church annex shower and a post rehearsal buffet for the wedding party hosted by Mr and Mrs J G Stitt.
Mr and Mrs Adolph Gallant announce the engagement of their eldest daughter Frances Lena to Edward Steve second eldest son of Mr and Mrs Wm Yaskiw of Solsgirth The wedding is set for 2 o'clock on Saturday August 31 in the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Solsgirth.
