United Church Women Meet at Vista Home
The Vista United Church Women gathered Wednesday August 7 at 2 p.m. at Mrs. W. J. Hamilton’s home with several members and one visitor. Ethel Brown and Florence MacPhail gave the devotional. The group invited Mrs. Keiper to attend the September gathering. A lunch was served by the hostess and her daughter Mrs. Hogan. The next meeting is September 4 at Mrs. Harvey Hamilton’s home with Mrs. Clayton to prepare the devotional.

Allan Cameron 71 Rossburn resident dies suddenly
Allan Cameron of Rossburn died at his home on July 30 1963 aged 71. He was born in Eckford District and moved to Rossburn in 1947. Funeral held at Rossburn Pentecostal Church with Rev Jackson and Rev Beitel officiating. Rossburn Legion and family members mourn. Interment at Rossburn Cemetery.

Maxwell Howard Wedding At St Vital United Church
Marjorie Elizabeth Maxwell and Richard Howard wed at St Vital United Church Winnipeg on Saturday July 27 at 4 PM. The bride wore a satin gown with lace bodice and lilies, with aqua bridesmaids and a pearl necklace. About 150 guests attended the reception at St Vital Legion Hall and the couple left for a U.S. trip after a 400-guest dance.
