Joseph Zurbyk expresses sincere thanks to the people of Angusville and area for a farewell party. He notes the event was unexpected yet memorable and extends gratitude to those who organized it and to the baseball and hockey club members.

Gifts from many organizations are listed, with gratitude for support over years and best wishes. A farewell note thanks Editor Harry Aylwin and wife Helen for years of cooperation with the R. M. and Village of Rossburn. The message praises the press's role in municipal administration and public notices and hopes continued support from successors.
While out fishing at Rossman Lake, Mr and Mrs E Berney and Mr and Mrs O Elvers met visiting campers who found a huge Pike weighing 27 pounds. The fish appeared old and was brought ashore for display.
Guest speakers Mr and Mrs Tony Wade of Virden Man will address the Rossburn United Church at 1 a m Sunday August 12. The church also sponsors Vacation Bible School August 20 to 24 from 9 a m to 12 for children 3 years old and up at Rossburn Elementary School with Bible stories crafts and recreation.
