Shell Honors 10 Year Employees at Chicago Luncheon
Shell Oil Company's Chicago Division honored 230 current employees with ten or more years of service and 71 former retirees at a luncheon at the Edgewater Beach Hotel. Afterward, attendees watched the Cubs win against Pittsburgh at Wrigley Field. Local attendees included H. O. Krass, R. K. Davis, Richard M. Abbott, J. H. Anderson, R. C. White, W. C. Wroklewski, N. J. Ganslen and others from Palatine Arlington Heights Mt. Prospect and surrounding areas.

St Paul Federal Plans Mammoth New Addition
St Paul Federal, Illinois sixth largest savings and loan, will more than double facilities at 6720 W North Ave Chicago. A two story expansion adds 45200 square feet, triples teller cages including drive in lanes and a kid friendly unit, vaults, offices, and meeting rooms. Ground floor vaults and a future elevator, parking for 175 cars, and a new main floor banking area with child supervision are planned.

2500 Apply To Take T-Man Exams
The Treasury Department announced about 2500 applications have been received to take the written exam for special enrollment to practice as an Agent before the Internal Revenue Service. The test will be June 24 and 25 1959 in IRS district offices including Chicago at 17 North Dearborn Street. The program aims to let public accountants and other qualified non attorneys or non CPAs represent taxpayers.
