Rolling Meadows Park District seeks $350000 bond and two small taxes

Swing-a-Park Goes Into Retirement
The Swing-a-Park group announced a period of inactivity saying it will be dormant until needed. They raised about 450 dollars at a June 20 dance and 1,100 dollars from a prior event, forming the current treasury for park expenses until August when tax revenues are due. The district has operated since August 1958 without revenues, and the park board thanks the Swing-a-Park members for the board’s very existence.
