An invitation was extended to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Ladies Aid of Rolfe for October 10. Helpers planned a chicken supper and many locals attended activities at Elk Horn visiting Elim Children’s Home Old People’s Home and the Invalid Home. Community members and families gathered for birthdays and family visits, with numerous Bradgate Progress Club members serving as ushers at a convention in Humboldt.
Jens Peter Petersen 91 died at Mercy hospital Fort Dodge after residing in Humboldt and Bradgate. Funeral conducted at Methodist church with Rev. C. L. Day officiating. Survived by wife Katrine, three children Mary Buck Lena Knutson and Inga McCreary, many grandchildren great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Burial at Union Cemetery Humboldt Iowa.
