Bob Thompson drove to Des Moines Saturday to visit his mother Mrs. Harry Thompson visiting her sister Mrs. Eugene Halling at Orient and relatives at Grimes and Dallas Center for two weeks. Bro Lansing underwent major surgery for stomach ulcers at University hospital Iowa City. Mrs. Lansing visited after the operation and remained until Saturday. Lansing appreciates cards while hospitalized and reports a satisfactory recovery.
