Locals Mr and Mrs Eldon Ellingson and children were Sunday visitors in the Leslie Johnson home. In the afternoon all were callers in the Dean Hauswirth home at Havelock. Mrs Dorothy Farlow and Rich ard attended the wedding of her nephew Gordon Rouse and Fern Rickless at the Lutheran Church at Ayrshire Sunday evening. Thorwald Christensen who has been ill at the home of his sister esis Laura Jensen remains about the same. Mrs Mind Mrs Robert Schott and son drove to Sioux City Sunday to visit his brother Dick Schott at St Josephs hospital. Mrs Dorothy Schott returned home with them after spending the week end there. The Earl Mason family of Fort Dodge and Gus Stcheters of Palmer were Saturday visitors in the Carl Mason home, Charlie Mason accompanied his brother home for the week end.
Local residents host and visit relatives across Iowa and beyond during holidays. A Reed College student Jeanne Savery plans holidays with Ed Saverys and family. Births include a son to Johnny Cleavenger and Sheila Wood Cleavenger. The Rectangle features poems by Pamilla Graves and Kay Babcock, with Sigma Tau Delta ties to Buena Vista College.
