In Contract Bridge Vi Et ta Wold won high score, Helen Munson second. In 500 Alice Bierstedt won high score, Nancy Pedersen second. Lois Sroufe won the bingo prize.

Arlis Benz was feted at a bridal shower held Tuesday evening July 24 in St Margaret's parish hall. Hostesses were friends and relatives of Arlis and her fiancé Leo Shimon. Corsages were given to Arlis, her mother Mrs Gordon Benz of Bradgate and the groom's mother Mrs John Shimon and grandmothers Mrs Leo Flaherty of Poky and Mrs Ray Davis of Gilmore City.
