Plover Garden Club observed Arbor Day by planting a Green Ash on the Plover school grounds with 3rd 4th and 5th grade students participating. Litter Bug Poster contest winners named for each grade. Mrs Margie Tubbs and daughter Rockie of Chokie Minnesota visited Tuesday with her mother Mrs George Wolcott at Mercy Hospital where she was recovering from surgery. They returned Wednesday as Mr and Mrs Roger Wolcott of Pequot Lake arrived to see their sister in law. Mrs Wolcott is recovering well. Also noted is a Sunday visit from the Dean O’Donnell family of Hampton to the Robert Munson home and a Saturday pot luck at the Lee Carlton home with guests from West Bend Rodney Garner and Garner teachers family members.
