Local Skating Party and Regional Livestock Movements

Misses Helen Maxine and Lois Johnson Lucille Brock Kathryn Kober Marcella Howland and Berniece Guderian enjoyed a skating party at Twin Lakes Sunday evening. Art Michalek shipped a large cattle load by truck last Thursday, totaling 187 head in 12 trucks to the Sioux City market at 771 pounds each and $8.71 per hundred through Wagner, Garrison & Abbott. Funeral services for Henry N. Hamilton, Rolfe resident for 19 years, were held Friday at 2:30 in the Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. H. A. Sinning. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Larson moved to a trailer at the Lyle Larson place. Mrs. Hans Miller moved to the Ida Otto home.
