City Council Ends Year With Park Use Approved

Insurance Companies Move to Pay
On April 21, 1903 a fire broke out in Geo. Hammonds Block on South Main Street and was extinguished by Mr. Hammond. The building was damaged and Hammond carried insurance with the Hartford and Liverpool London & Globe companies, but he had to sue both insurers to recover.
